Who we are

MuleBuyUS Review Desk is a small publisher based in Austin, Texas. Dana Whitfield founded the desk in 2021 after a decade of buying from Chinese marketplaces and watching too many shipping quotes change after checkout. The first test was a two-kilogram parcel of sneakers and a kitchen scale on a kitchen table.

Today the desk has three named editors: Dana Whitfield, Editor-in-Chief; Priya Raman, Reviews Editor; and Tomas Ibarra, Research Editor. We order through shopping agents, pay our own fees, and document what arrives.

What we do

We hands-on test agent services, QC photo sets, consolidation, packaging, and shipping lines. Our standard test order includes apparel, a pair of shoes, a small electronic accessory, and a fragile item. We log agent chat response time, warehouse arrival, QC photo angles, volumetric weight, parcel dispatch, customs events, and final delivery.

We publish scores on a five-point scale and retest fee tables, shipping lines, and warehouse turnaround every 90 days. Corrections are welcome at editorial@mulebuyus.com.

Our coverage focus

Our coverage follows US-bound MuleBuy parcels from warehouse dispatch to carrier acceptance and delivery. We describe destination regions without identifying recipients and compare packing choices with arrival condition. Tracking gaps remain visible; past customs treatment does not guarantee a future shipment.

Dana Whitfield is Editor-in-Chief at MuleBuyUS Review Desk, setting testing standards and editing every scored review. A spreadsheet records each fee, delay and delivery scan, supporting Dana's fee-and-timeline work on each test. The process begins with opening the agent account, logging checkout fees and tracking warehouse arrival, then reconciling final parcel weight against the consolidation invoice. Shipping-line quotes are also checked against actual tracking events and customs delays noted, bringing the charges, parcel weight and delivery stages into the same test record.

Priya Raman writes apparel, sneaker and accessory reviews at MuleBuyUS Review Desk. Test garments are measured flat against the listing's size chart, and QC images are reviewed for stitching, colour and label placement, with extra photos requested when a listing is unclear. A soft tape records chest, shoulder, sleeve, inseam and waist measurements, flagging differences over 1.5 cm from the chart. Sneaker checks cover box condition, glue marks and midsole stitching, while packaging is photographed before opening, recording fit measurements, image observations and arrival condition separately.

Tomas Ibarra maintains the agent-fee, shipping-line and warehouse-turnaround comparison tables at MuleBuyUS Review Desk and researches reader questions. Claims are checked against order receipts and tracking scans, and each table uses at least three test orders. Quotes, invoices and tracking scans are logged side by side before differences are calculated, retaining the material from the quoted service and the actual order. Every fee table is rechecked at 90-day intervals, with changes to a line's price, weight limit or destination availability flagged in the research record.
