Superbuy Review: China Shopping Agent, Fees and Consolidation

Short answer

Superbuy is an all-in-one China buying and forwarding platform with lifetime free basic purchasing. Order from Taobao or Tmall, get free inspection photos, 90 days of free storage and parcel consolidation, then ship to 200+ countries with published rates, bilingual support and multi-currency payment.

Superbuy is a long-running China shopping agent and freight-forwarding service. It buys from Taobao, Tmall and other Chinese platforms on your behalf, checks incoming parcels in its warehouse, holds them free for 90 days and consolidates several orders into one international shipment. Basic purchasing fees are waived for life; payment processing and optional value-added services carry the published fees below.

About Superbuy

Superbuy has run since 2012 and helped popularise the reverse cross-border shopping model, in which an overseas buyer orders from Chinese platforms through an intermediary who handles purchase, inspection and international delivery. The service is built around Taobao and Tmall, with a spreadsheet-style product search tool that lets buyers browse and compare domestic listings in bulk before importing links into the platform. Core features include a lifetime waiver of basic purchasing fees, free in-warehouse quality checks with photo evidence, 90 days of free storage, parcel consolidation and optional reinforced packaging. Shipping options span more than 200 countries and regions with pricing shown upfront, and the platform supports multi-currency payment and bilingual customer service covering procurement, inspection, warehousing and dispatch.

What to weigh up

What works well
  • Lifetime waiver of basic purchasing agent fees for registered members, so the agent's margin sits in shipping and optional services rather than order handling.

  • Operating since 2012, one of the earliest reverse cross-border shopping platforms and still among the largest by traffic.

  • Free warehouse inspection with three item photos per order, with extra photos for Weidian purchases.

  • 90 days of free storage plus parcel consolidation and reinforced or reduced packaging to trim international shipping costs.

  • Shipping routes covering more than 200 countries and regions with rates shown before you pay.

  • An unusually wide payment range: cards, Wise, UnionPay, bank transfer, Alipay, WeChat Pay, Bitcoin and many regional wallets.

  • Bilingual customer support and multi-currency balances.

What to check
  • The free basic purchasing fee does not cover value-added services. Detailed inspection, extra photos, tag or box removal, ironing, power-on testing, reinforcement materials and extended storage are all charged separately.

  • Some services are irreversible: removing shoe boxes, cutting tags or power-on testing for electronics generally means the item can no longer be returned or exchanged.

  • Storage is free for 90 days and can be extended for a fee, but items held beyond roughly 180 days are treated as abandoned.

  • Shipping is prepaid against estimated weight. Because the final charge depends on both volume and weight, a bulky but light parcel can cost more than the initial quote, though overpayments are refunded to your Superbuy balance.

  • Return and exchange allowances shrink as the number of monthly requests rises, so frequent returns get progressively more expensive.

  • All percentages and rates on this page are as published in September 2026 and can change without notice.

Is Superbuy legit?

Superbuy is a real, established shopping agent rather than a clone site. It has been operating since 2012, making it one of the earliest reverse cross-border shopping platforms in China, and publicly reported traffic puts it above 2.7 million monthly visits, which keeps it among the larger players in the category. Those signals describe scale and longevity, not a guarantee on any individual order: as with any agent, the risk sits with the third-party seller you buy from, so check store ratings, read the warehouse photos carefully and use the platform's dispute process if an item arrives wrong.

Where Superbuy is used most

Traffic data points to the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and France as Superbuy's largest markets. That spread is reflected in the payment lineup, which covers European bank-transfer wallets such as iDEAL, Trustly, Bancontact, EPS and MyBank, Asia-Pacific options including PayNow, Touch 'n Go, GCash, Kakao Pay and PromptPay, and Latin American methods like PIX and Mercado Pago.

Payment methods and what they cost

Superbuy supports more payment routes than most agents we track, and the fees differ sharply by method. Alipay (free) and WeChat Pay (free) top-ups are the cheapest, both crediting within roughly one to 60 minutes. Wise and bank transfers are credited below face value, with Wise at -3.13% in the September 2026 table. Card and Apple Pay top-ups add 3.94%. Regional wallets carry their own charges: MyBank 1.5% + 0.22 EUR, Trustly 3% + $0.40, Kakao Pay and PayID 2.7% + $0.30, GCash 2.7% + $0.30, PromptPay 2.5% + 15 THB, Bank Card (Turkey) 3.8%, PIX 2% + $0.05, iDEAL 2% + 0.3 EUR, EPS 2% + 0.3 EUR, PayU 2% + 0.3 EUR, MB WAY 1.5% + 0.15 EUR, Bancontact 0.5% + 0.3 EUR, BLIK 2% + 0.7 PLN, BANCOMAT Pay 1% + 0.1 EUR, DANA 2.5%, PayNow 1.5%, Touch 'n Go 2.5%, Mercado Pago (Mexico) 3.5% and GrabPay (Malaysia) 2.5%. Rates are published figures and can change.

Value-added services and their fees

Free services cover the basics: returns and exchanges are free for the first one or two requests per month, then cost $0.80 to $3.23 per request as frequency rises. Paid add-ons are quoted per piece or per parcel: power-on testing for electronics $1.93, second inspection $1.00, detailed inspection $0.88, product video $3.23, live model try-on photos $4.84, ironing $3.23, tag removal $0.48, loose-thread trimming $0.80, plastic sealing $1.61, bubble column packaging $0.80, EPE foam $0.64, dust bags $0.64, folding shoe boxes $0.80 per parcel and extended storage $1.61 per month. Parcel-level extras include priority shipping from $1.61, moisture-proof bags $0.96, stretch film $0.64 per kg (max $3.23), corner protectors $0.80 per kg (max $4.03), vacuum compression bags $2.74 each and wooden crate reinforcement at $40.38. Fees are quoted in US dollars and were published in September 2026.

How the Superbuy spreadsheet fits in

The Superbuy spreadsheet is a search layer that sits in front of the agent. Instead of searching Taobao listing by listing, you enter a keyword and get a bulk table of matching products with links, images, prices and store details, filtered by category or price band. Pick what you want, copy the links, and import them into Superbuy to order. It speeds up discovery, but it is a directory of marketplace listings rather than a vetted catalog: sellers, prices and stock change constantly, and no spreadsheet entry carries a quality guarantee from the agent.

How to use Superbuy

  1. Step 1 — Find products with the Superbuy spreadsheet

Search the spreadsheet tool by keyword, filter by category and price, and compare links, images and store information in the table view. Copy the links for the listings you want and paste them into the Superbuy platform to open a purchase order. Treat results as unverified marketplace listings: check seller ratings and sizes yourself before committing.

  2. Step 2 — Submit the order and pay

Confirm the variant, size and quantity for each item, then pay. Basic purchasing fees are waived for life, so your cost is the item price plus any payment processing fee. Wise bank transfers are credited below face value (-3.13% in the September 2026 table), while credit card and Apple Pay top-ups add 3.94%. Loyalty points can be redeemed for shipping discounts, and account credit earned from confirmed deliveries can be applied later.

  3. Step 3 — Inspection, storage and optional services

When items reach the warehouse you get free inspection with three photos per order (three extra for Weidian). Storage is free for 90 days. Optional paid services include detailed inspection, extra or detailed photography, product videos, live try-on photos, tag removal, loose-thread trimming, shoe-box removal, ironing, power-on testing for electronics, and reinforced or vacuum packaging. Remember that reshaping or testing an item usually makes it non-returnable.

  4. Step 4 — Consolidate and ship out

Select the items you want to send together and submit them as one parcel, comparing shipping lines on price, speed and restrictions. Shipping is prepaid against estimated weight; the final charge is based on volume and weight, and any overpayment is refunded to your Superbuy balance. Because light bulky items can be charged by volumetric weight, adding small flat items such as socks or phone cases to an existing parcel rarely raises the cost.

Shopping-agent guide

Superbuy works as a three-stage pipeline: you find a product, the agent buys it, and you ship the consolidated result. Product discovery usually starts with the Superbuy spreadsheet, a searchable table of Chinese listings. Enter a keyword, filter by category and price, then compare links, images, prices and store details in one view. Copy the links you want and paste them into the Superbuy platform to open a purchase order, so discovery and buying happen in the same workflow without repeated manual searching. Payment comes next. You top up the account balance or pay per order, and the fee you pay depends on the method: Wise bank transfers are the cheapest option we found in the published table and are actually credited below face value, while card and Apple Pay top-ups add a surcharge. Regional wallets such as iDEAL, PIX, PayID, BLIK, GCash and Kakao Pay are supported at their own percentage plus fixed fees. Once paid, Superbuy buys from the merchant and routes the parcel to its own warehouse. In the warehouse, your items are checked and photographed. During the free 90-day window you can keep ordering, add value-added services, and then combine everything into one international parcel. Compare the available shipping lines, choose a route, and pay the estimated weight up front; any difference is refunded to your balance once the parcel is weighed and measured. Two cautions matter here. First, treat the spreadsheet as a starting point rather than a verified catalog — listings come from Chinese marketplaces and can change or sell out, and the agent does not guarantee quality or authenticity of any particular seller. Second, services that alter the item (tag removal, box removal, power-on testing, ironing) usually void return eligibility, so choose them only for purchases you intend to keep.

Frequently asked

Does Superbuy charge a purchasing service fee?

No. Registered members get a lifetime waiver on basic purchasing agent fees, so order handling itself is free. You still pay item prices, international shipping and any payment processing fee, plus optional value-added services such as photos, inspection, tag removal or extended storage.

How long does Superbuy store items, and what does the free inspection cover?

Storage is free for 90 days from check-in, extendable for a fee, with items held beyond roughly six months treated as abandoned. The free check covers three photos and basic appearance details such as style, colour, size and model; detailed inspection and power-on testing are paid extras.

How is international shipping charged?

You prepay against an estimated weight, and the final cost is settled on the parcel's actual volume and weight, with any overpayment refunded to your Superbuy balance. Superbuy Prime is an optional paid membership that discounts applied shipping, and confirmed deliveries earn credit toward future shipments.

Kakobuy

Kakobuy is a China-based shopping agent and freight forwarder: you send it a product link from Taobao, Weidian, 1688, Tmall or JD.com, it buys the item, inspects it in its own warehouse, stores it free for 100 days, then consolidates everything into one international parcel. This explainer walks through the buying, quality-check and shipping flow, the fees you actually pay, and the points where buyers most often get caught out.

Mulebuy

Mulebuy was a China shopping and shipping agent for overseas buyers: you paste a Taobao, 1688 or Weidian link, Mulebuy buys the item with a domestic account, receives it at its Huizhou warehouse, sends free QC photos, holds goods in free storage and consolidates them into one international parcel. The service is currently listed as not operating, so verify its status before paying.

JoyaGoo

JoyaGoo, formerly Joyabuy, is a China-based shopping agent and parcel-forwarding service for overseas buyers. It purchases from Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Weidian and Yupoo on your behalf, receives items into its own warehouse, supplies QC photos, holds goods for 90 days free, consolidates parcels and ships them internationally with DHL, EMS and other routes. Orders can be submitted by pasted link, keyword search or image search.

USfans

USfans is a Guangzhou-based shopping and forwarding agent that buys from Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and Weidian for overseas buyers, then inspects, stores and consolidates the goods before shipping them internationally. It is best known for the community-maintained USFans Spreadsheet, and for 3-5 free QC photos per order plus 90 days of free warehouse storage.

Sugargoo

Sugargoo is one of the longer-running China shopping agents, used by overseas buyers to order from Taobao, Tmall, JD.com, 1688, Weidian and Goofish, then store, inspect and consolidate parcels before international shipping. Our testing team ordered through its warehouse in Huizhou and scored the service 4 / 5: strong QC, long free storage and a huge route list, offset by fee layers that are hard to read at checkout.

Litbuy

Litbuy is a China shopping agent run by LITBUY LIMITED that buys from Taobao, 1688, WeChat Store and DIY links, offers free warehouse QC photos, 90 free storage days, and consolidated international shipping.

iTaobuy

iTaobuy is a China-based shopping and shipping agent built around three separate routes: Direct Buy for marketplace pages it can parse, Fill&Buy for seller albums or incomplete links, and forwarding for goods bought elsewhere. It adds warehouse QC, consolidation, 90 days of free storage, ordinary parcel lines and MegaShip DDP sea freight for eligible oversized loads. Our testing team treats it as an ordering-route decision first and a shipping-cost decision second, because each route leaves a different evidence trail.

Oopbuy

Oopbuy is a shopping agent built around a visible cost-and-decision trail rather than a single checkout screen. An order moves from source link and domestic purchase to warehouse receiving, QC, storage, consolidation and final dispatch, and the checkout structure separates recharge, purchase, customs and forwarding amounts. For our review desk, an Oopbuy spreadsheet is most useful as a ledger: record the source listing, paid item total, QC decision, warehouse status, insurance choice and final parcel quote before approving each handoff.

Hipobuy

Hipobuy is a link-based shopping agent for Weidian, Taobao and 1688 items, with a China warehouse stage and a Rehearsal Parcel checkpoint sitting between warehouse receipt and international dispatch. This page explains how to use it as a shipping agent, and what to record at each step.

Lovegobuy

Lovegobuy is a China shopping and forwarding agent operated by Sufei International Trading Co., Ltd. It accepts product links from Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Weidian and other supported marketplaces, adds keyword and image search for comparing similar listings, and provides warehouse QC photos with a free approve-or-return decision before consolidation and air or sea dispatch.

Fishgoo

Fishgoo is a China shopping agent and forwarding service for buyers working from Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Weidian and Xianyu links. It splits an order into two payments: the item and its domestic delivery to the warehouse first, then an international shipping line chosen after QC, consolidation and packing. Fishgoo advertises a 0% purchasing service fee, five free QC photos per item and 100 days of free storage, and it lists its fees and payment methods openly for buyers to check at checkout.

BaseTao

BaseTao is a China shopping agent that runs two routes into one warehouse: Buy for Me for links it purchases on your behalf, and Ship for Me for parcels you have already paid a Chinese seller to send. Our testing team used the warehouse workflow for listing checks, QC photos, 120-day storage, consolidation and international shipping quotes.

Cssbuy

CSSBuy is a China-based shopping agent used with spreadsheet links from Taobao, Weidian and 1688. Our testing team found the workflow easy to follow once you accept that buying and shipping are two separate payments: the first covers the item and China domestic delivery, and international freight is only calculated after the goods reach the warehouse, pass QC and are packed. Free storage is listed at 90 days for regular goods and 30 days for sensitive goods, and the order flow lists 3–5 free QC photos. It suits spreadsheet shoppers who want to inspect a parcel before committing to a shipping route.

Gtbuy

Gtbuy presents the order journey as a warehouse-based sequence: assisted purchasing, seller dispatch, warehouse receipt, QC review, and only then international parcel dispatch. Instead of committing to final international shipping before the goods exist as a parcel, buyers use a spreadsheet to verify the original listing, confirm the item after warehouse QC, and make the route decision once the shipment has been prepared.

Orientdig

Orientdig is a cross-border shopping agent built around two separate confirmations: the original item before purchase, and the packed parcel before international dispatch. Buyers can start from a Spreadsheet, paste a marketplace link, or use keyword search, image search and DIY Orders for sources outside normal link support. Warehouse HD QC images follow receipt, and rehearsal packing gives a better pre-dispatch weight estimate. Final freight depends on the packed parcel's actual and volumetric weight, the destination and the route chosen.

ACBuy

ACBuy is a Chinese buying and shipping agent for international shoppers, handling the full chain from purchasing and warehouse inspection to international logistics and after-sales. It works in both purchasing-agent and parcel-forwarding modes, defaults to English and USD, and supports ordering from Taobao, Tmall, JD, 1688, Pinduoduo and Vipshop, with paid sourcing from social-commerce and second-hand platforms.
