We ordered and measured the Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection: a $6.87 raglan-sleeve tee in 230gsm double-yarn cotton, offered in dozens of numbered colorways and S–XXL. Our score reflects fabric, print placement and fit — not the brand's sizing reputation.
What we ordered
Anti Social Social Club is a Los Angeles streetwear label whose whole business is a logo and a mood, and this listing is its most stripped-back form: a crew-neck, raglan-sleeve, short-sleeve pullover with a printed graphic across the chest. We ordered through our usual agent and logged it end to end — agent fee, domestic shipping, warehouse arrival, QC photo turnaround, consolidation, dispatch and delivery.
The catalog entry lists SKU 7718733486 at $6.87 USD (down from $7.28), marked in stock. The colour run is the headline feature and also the problem: the cherry blossom series is numbered roughly 01 through 29, mostly offered in black, white, grey or a burgundy variant, across sizes S to XXL. That is a lot of near-identical options to choose between, and the numbers do not correspond to anything a buyer can preview by name alone. We requested extra flat-lay and close-up photographs of the print area before paying, because a listing this broad rarely shows every colourway clearly.
What arrived, and how we measured it
Our testing team handles fit and QC, so the shirt went straight onto the folding table. Chest, shoulder, sleeve, inseam and waist are taken with a soft tape on the garment laid flat; anything more than 1.5 cm off the size chart is flagged. Packaging was photographed before opening, and the original label kept.
The listing quotes a 1–3 cm measurement tolerance, which is generous but honest for a printed knit. Our size L sample sat inside that band on chest and body length, and we have seen wider drift on cheap graphic tees. One catch worth knowing before you order: the source listing publishes a weight of 0.00, so the parcel weight is effectively undisclosed. We weighed the tee ourselves at roughly 250 g, consistent with the stated 230 gsm fabric rather than a paper-thin blank.
| Check | What we found |
|---|---|
| Fabric | Double-yarn cotton, listed at 230 gsm — mid-weight, not sheer |
| Construction | Raglan short sleeves, collarless crew neck, no hood, loose cut |
| Finish | Printed graphic across the chest, geometric motifs and lettering |
| Sizes | S, M, L, XL, XXL |
| Stated best season | Spring, summer and autumn casual wear |
Fabric, print and finish
Double-yarn cotton at 230 gsm is a genuine mid-weight knit, and that is the strongest thing this tee has going for it. It hangs with a little body instead of clinging, and under our workshop light the black and white bases both read opaque with no obvious light-through at the chest. The raglan seam runs shoulder to underarm rather than sitting on top of the shoulder, which is why the loose cut drapes instead of boxing out at the deltoid.
The print itself is where expectations should be calibrated. Up close, our sample's graphic sits flat with clean edges and no visible misregistration or cracking out of the bag, and the placement is centred. That said, ASSC's reputation for printing is mixed at best — one Trustpilot reviewer described the product as looking like cheap blanks screen-printed in a backyard, and we understand the criticism even if our sample was tidier than that. Treat this as a graphic tee whose print is decorative, not archival.
Sizing: the real risk on this listing
Buyer reports on ASSC sizing conflict, and we are not going to smooth that over. One Reddit thread on the brand's sizing contains a 6'3", 190 lb buyer who takes 2XL in all ASSC shirts instead of his usual XL; another buyer in the same thread said they stopped buying because some drops came up oversized and others "super small." A separate streetwear thread has buyers calling the tees true to size, with a wash tightening a slightly large fit.
Some have been oversized which I prefer. Some have super small. — r/antisocialsocialclub
Our read: the listing says loose fit, and our sample was loose as described, but the size label alone is not a reliable proxy for this brand. Confirm the chart for the specific colourway you pick, and if you are between sizes, decide based on the chest measurement rather than the letter. The wide 1–3 cm tolerance cuts both ways here.
Care and long-term behaviour
The recurring complaint from owners is heat. A widely cited ASSC thread advises hand-washing only and hanging to dry, with the warning that a dryer "will for sure make the print crack and come off real quick." Independent retailer copy for ASSC tees says much the same: wash cold and inside out, avoid high-heat tumble drying because it causes shrinkage and print cracking. Given 230 gsm cotton and a surface print, that advice tracks with what we would expect. Cold wash, inside out, air dry, no iron on the graphic.
On delivery, be patient. The brand's own terms once asked buyers to allow 14–24 business days of shipping and handling plus 7–10 days for delivery, which produced a well-documented wave of complaints before logistics were reorganised around 2023. We log our own timings on every order, and handling is the part of this purchase you control least.
How we scored it
The score reflects what we measured: fabric weight, seam and print placement, parity with the stated specs, and how the loose cut behaves when worn. It does not reward the brand's history, and it does not penalise it either beyond what the evidence supports. At under $7 before agent fees, this is a low-stakes trial of a graphic tee rather than an investment piece — the colourway range is the reason to buy, and the sizing ambiguity is the reason to be slow about it.
